THE WILD TABLE

A Woodland Restaurant by The Laundry x Browning Bros.

Following three previous sell-out successes, high praise, and much demand, The Laundry x Browning Bros. will reunite Friday 18th - Sunday 20th September 2026 for our fourth and final Wild Table weekend of 2026 at Tey Brook Orchard.

Stillness is the final rhythm of the year, the transition where summer’s high energy moves into the final harvest. The Wild Table returns to Tey Brook Orchard for a final chapter of open-fire feasting and connection beneath the changing canopy - a visceral invitation to enter the season's gentle unwinding and route to rest. Experience bold, seasonal cooking deep in Browning Bros.’ fifth-generation, family-run organic farm, just an hour from London. This harvest finale is powered by our fire-cooking partners, OFYR and BSTRD. Expect a rich new harvest menu, the same exceptional magic, and even more moments around the flames.

Rooted in the abundance of late summer, this edition draws inspiration from the harvest: deep, earthy ingredients, fire-roasted stone fruits, and produce that speaks of golden light and cooler evenings. Chef Sommelier Melanie Brown’s signature fire-led approach meets produce grown just metres from your seat for a dining experience that is both theatrical and deeply grounded in place. Guided by a philosophy of bold, uncomplicated integrity, every plate is a story in culinary presence. Working across the iconic circular hearth of the OFYR and utilising the advanced ceramic technology of BSTRD’s professional-grade equipment, September’s woodland kitchen brings a new level of precision to the flame.

The Wild Table is more than just a pop-up; it is a celebration of seasonality, community, and cooking outdoors. Together with Browning Bros., we are creating an experience that honours the land, champions flavour, and invites guests to bear witness to the harvest that brings the flavour.

In a world of constant noise, the Wild Table is a sanctuary of natural stillness. The atmosphere is intimate, off-grid, and joyfully unhurried - a return to the pace of the land where the usual rules of time do not apply. Glamping is available for those who want to stay the night and wake to breakfast cooked in the woods.

“The Wild Table is unlike any other dining experience I’ve had before. Eating outdoors, surrounded by nature, with everything cooked over the fire felt so special. The food is outstanding, the setting is beautiful, and the whole experience is so unique. I can't wait to visit again!”

Starting with a seasonal cocktail in hand after a short walk through the forest, guests are led to their first bite of the evening; a gathering in the glade with canapés and conversation. We are stripping away the formality of the modern dining room to create a space that is natural, calm, and heavy with flavour. After that? A multi-course feasting menu - the culmination of weeks of preparation from slow-maturing roots and fermentations - cooked over flames and served beneath the canopy. Bold, uncomplicated flavours made with local harvest produce, paired with a curated wine list that celebrates the season and setting.

Melanie Brown & The Laundry

New Zealand-born chef and sommelier Melanie Brown is the force behind The Laundry - a much-loved South London restaurant known for its seasonal, ingredient-led cooking and easygoing hospitality. With a background that spans professional kitchens and wine expertise, Mel’s approach is rooted in simplicity, provenance, and bold flavour. Whether at the pass or by the fire, her food celebrates the best of what is local and in season -  thoughtful, unfussy, and always made to bring people together.

Browning Bros.

Browning Bros. was founded by fifth-generation farmers Nat and Archie Browning, whose family has called this land home for over 125 years. What began as their childhood landscape of forts and dens has grown into a unique space for others to connect, explore, and imagine. A few years into the journey, Nat’s wife Becky joined the fold, bringing her background in events and natural flair for hosting. Together, the trio has transformed Teybrook Orchard into a beloved destination for weddings, retreats, and off-grid escapes -  a place people return to, again and again, for its warmth, beauty, and sense of possibility.

Partners in Fire

Our woodland kitchen is brought to life through the support of OFYR and BSTRD. OFYR provides the heart of our restaurant with their iconic circular wood-fired hearth, designed for social, immersive cooking. BSTRD represents a new generation of ceramic outdoor cooking technology; their heavy-duty, professional-grade ovens allow our chefs to master the flame with unparalleled heat retention and precision, transforming the terroir on our doorstep into the fire alchemy of woodsmoke, time, and nature.

Dogs: Small well-behaved dogs are welcome. Due to the nature of the event, medium and large dogs are not permitted.

Children: Our pop-up restaurant in the woods is aimed primarily at adults, and we want to ensure every guest can relax and enjoy the moment. We do believe children should be able to experience the joy of dining outdoors and connecting with nature; please book their seat and ticket with yours - lunch sittings are a little more family-friendly. Due to the nature of the event and setting, we do not recommend that children under 8 attend, though babes in arms are welcome.

Allergies and Dietary Requirements: We offer a full vegan menu option to cater for both vegans and vegetarians. For requests for the vegan menu and to note any allergies, please inform us immediately upon booking. Due to the nature and locality of our woodland restaurant, we cannot accommodate any last-minute changes or requests so all requirements, including the need for a vegan meal, must be confirmed in advance.
