All Day Brunch in Brixton

Brunchin’ 7 days a week, because Brixton does not wait for the weekend.

At The Laundry, brunch runs Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3pm, Saturday from 10am to 3pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm. So whether you are starting the day properly, recovering from the night before or deciding that 2pm still counts as breakfast, there is a table for it on Coldharbour Lane.

Set just a short walk from Brixton Station, Brixton Village and Electric Avenue, The Laundry is an all-day bistro, café and wine shop where brunch is taken seriously, but not too seriously. It is the kind of place that works for a quick coffee and eggs, a long weekend table, a dog-friendly brunch stop or a Sunday that has no interest in being productive.

Brunch 7 days a week

The brunch menu brings together the classics, the comfort plates and the ones you will probably talk about afterwards.

Go for Turkish Eggs, with two poached eggs on whipped yoghurt, hot chilli butter and sourdough. Keep it proper with The Laundry Fry Up, with eggs your way, slow-roasted tomatoes, house smoky beans, streaky bacon, field mushrooms, hash brown and sourdough. Or keep it simple with toasted banana bread and salted honeycomb butter. That’s it. That’s the one.

If brunch needs to be a little more green, there is spiced tofu scramble with slow-roasted tomatoes and sourdough toast, or cold pressed juices with apple, cucumber, spinach and ginger. If it needs to be a little more fun, there are breakfast cocktails too, including Bellinis, Bloody Marias and Flat White Martinis.

Early starts, late starts and everything between

The Laundry is built for different versions of brunch. Weekdays can be quick, simple and coffee-led. Saturdays can be a table with friends before the market. Sundays can be slower, with brunch running until 4pm for the people who believe the day should start when it starts.

Come for coffee. Stay for a Bloody Maria. Add hash browns. No judgment on your timing.
