There are no food pre-orders. Everyone chooses their main course on the day, removing the need for the organiser to collect menu decisions in advance.

Groups looking for more across the table can add a selection of sharing starters for £10 per person.

Work Christmas lunches in Brixton

A work Christmas lunch can be the easiest version of the office party.

It has an earlier start, better pacing and all the food, wine and atmosphere of a Christmas celebration without needing to become a full evening production.

The Laundry can host team lunches, client meals, office celebrations and local business gatherings of different sizes.

Every Christmas group receives a dedicated host and a 3.5-hour table allocation. Guests can pay individually, use the table QR code or settle one combined bill at the end.

Useful for the organiser. Even more useful for whoever normally gets stuck calculating the bill.

Christmas lunch can absolutely include cocktails.

Group bookings can enjoy three festive cocktails for £10 each throughout their reservation.

The Cherry Royale combines Crème de Cerise, Prosecco and morello cherry. The Cucumber Margarita is fresh, bright and a house favourite. The Festive Negroni brings together spiced Brixton gin, Campari and sweet vermouth.

Groups can order cocktails individually or arrange a welcome round in advance. Bottles of Prosecco can also be pre-ordered for the table.

Sunday roast for festive groups

Groups of 15 or more can book The Laundry’s Sunday Roast Set Menu for £49 per person.

The menu begins with light nibbles, followed by a choice of roast main course with unlimited roast vegetables and gravy. Dessert completes the meal.

It is a strong option for families, teams and groups of friends looking for a festive Sunday gathering around a proper roast.

Unlimited roast vegetables and gravy remain part of the arrangement, as they should.

Private spaces for Christmas lunch

The Laundry has spaces for festive lunches of different sizes.

The ground-floor café and restaurant can seat groups of 10 to 17 guests.

La Table de Carmen seats up to 20, while The Drying Room seats up to 16. The adjoining lower-ground rooms can be combined for groups of 20 to 36.

The Laundry also has a fully covered and heated terrace. Larger groups can enquire about hiring a floor, the terrace or the full venue for up to 130 guests.

Specific spaces can be requested, although availability cannot always be guaranteed.

Canapés, feasting tables and bespoke menus

Some Christmas lunches require something more tailored than the Festive Set Menu.

The Laundry can also provide canapés, feasting tables and bespoke menus for private events and larger celebrations.

Christmas lunch dates

The festive season runs from 5 November to 23 December 2026.

The Laundry closes at 3pm on 23 December and remains closed from 24 to 27 December, reopening at 10am on 28 December.

The Laundry is therefore not open for Christmas lunch on Christmas Day. This page is for festive lunches and group celebrations taking place before 24 December.
