The Christmas season runs from 5 November to 23 December 2026, with a £39 per person Festive Set Menu, £10 festive cocktails and a group-booking process designed to make the organiser’s life considerably easier.

Christmas parties with proper food behind them

A Christmas party should not be planned around the room first and the food second.

The Laundry’s Festive Set Menu is £39 per person and is available for groups of 10 or more.

The table begins with Perelló Manzanilla picante olives and warm baguette with butter. Guests then choose a meat, fish or vegan main course, followed by a seasonal dessert.

There are no food pre-orders. Everyone chooses their main course on the day, so the organiser does not have to chase the entire group for decisions before the party.

Groups that want more across the table can add a selection of sharing starters for £10 per person.

Good food on the table. Good wine close by. Much less Christmas admin.

£10 festive cocktails

Christmas group bookings can enjoy three festive “Dirty Set” cocktails for £10 each throughout the evening.

The Cherry Royale combines Crème de Cerise, Prosecco and morello cherry. The Cucumber Margarita is infused with fresh cucumber and is a firm house favourite. The Festive Negroni brings together spiced Brixton gin, Campari and sweet vermouth.

Welcome drinks can also be arranged in advance. Bottles of Prosecco or a round of £10 festive cocktails can be ready and waiting when the group arrives.

It is a small detail that makes the organiser look extremely prepared.

Christmas party spaces in Brixton

The Laundry has several spaces for Christmas parties of different sizes.

The ground-floor café and restaurant can seat groups of 10 to 17 guests.

On the lower ground floor, La Table de Carmen seats up to 20 guests, while The Drying Room seats up to 16. The two adjoining rooms can be combined for Christmas parties of 20 to 36 guests.

The Laundry also has a fully covered and heated terrace. Larger groups can enquire about hiring a floor, the terrace or the entire venue for celebrations of up to 130 guests.

Specific spaces can be requested, although they cannot always be guaranteed. The team will help find the most suitable available setting for the size and style of the party.

Work parties, friends and family celebrations

Christmas does not need to follow one format.

The Laundry can host team dinners, office parties, client celebrations, family gatherings and groups of friends finally finding a date that works for everyone.

Some parties need a large table and a proper meal. Others need their own room, a first round waiting and enough space for the guest list to grow. Larger celebrations may need a floor, the terrace or the entire venue.

The setting can change, but the important parts remain the same: good food, good drinks and hosting that feels warm rather than formal.

A dedicated host for every group

Every Christmas group booking receives a dedicated host for the evening.

The group also receives a 3.5-hour table allocation, giving everyone enough time to arrive, settle in, eat properly and enjoy the celebration without feeling rushed.

Dietary restrictions and allergies can be shared with the host on arrival, while guests choose their main courses on the day.

It is a much easier way to organise a Christmas party, particularly when the group chat has stopped being useful.

Flexible ways to pay

Christmas parties often involve guests who want to handle the bill differently.

At The Laundry, guests can pay individually as they go, use the table QR code or settle one combined bill at the end of the evening.

The organiser can choose the approach that works for the group without spending the final part of the party dividing the bill manually.

For parties that need something different from the Festive Set Menu, The Laundry can also provide canapés, feasting tables and bespoke menus.
