The Festive Set Menu is available for groups of 10 or more at £39 per person.

The meal begins with Perelló Manzanilla picante olives and warm baguette with butter.

Guests then choose a meat, fish or vegan main course on the day, followed by a seasonal dessert to finish.

It is a straightforward festive menu designed to give groups a proper meal without asking everyone to make their choices several weeks in advance.

Add sharing starters for £10 per person

Groups looking for a fuller table can add a selection of sharing starters for £10 per person.

Sharing plates bring more food to the centre of the table and give the meal a more generous, social beginning.

The organiser gets the bigger festive spread without having to create an entirely different booking.

No food pre-orders

Collecting food pre-orders from a large group can become a second job.

At The Laundry, guests choose their main course when they arrive. Meat, fish and vegan options are available, with dietary restrictions and allergies shared with the group’s dedicated host.

That means no email chains, no menu-choice deadlines and no last-minute messages from someone who has changed their mind.

The host helps look after the table throughout the booking, keeping the meal and drinks moving without making the occasion feel overly managed.

3.5 hours to enjoy the table

Festive group bookings receive a 3.5-hour table allocation.

There is enough time for everyone to arrive, order, eat and stay for drinks without the celebration feeling rushed.

This is particularly useful at Christmas, when one person is usually late, another needs to leave early and the rest of the table has decided to order another round.

£10 festive cocktails

Christmas group bookings can enjoy three festive cocktails for £10 each.

The Cherry Royale combines Crème de Cerise, Prosecco and morello cherry. The Cucumber Margarita is infused with fresh cucumber and is a house favourite. The Festive Negroni is made with spiced Brixton gin, Campari and sweet vermouth.

Cocktails can be ordered during the booking or arranged as welcome drinks in advance.

Groups can also pre-order bottles of Prosecco so drinks are waiting when everyone arrives.

A festive first round tends to improve punctuality.

Flexible group payments

Different groups want to handle the bill in different ways.

Guests can pay individually as they go, use the table QR code or settle one combined bill at the end.

The group can choose whichever option makes the most sense, reducing the need for complicated calculations once the table has finished eating.

Tables and spaces for different group sizes

The ground-floor café and restaurant can seat groups of 10 to 17 guests.

La Table de Carmen seats up to 20, while The Drying Room seats up to 16. The two adjoining lower-ground rooms can be combined for groups of 20 to 36.

The Laundry also has a fully covered and heated terrace. Larger groups can enquire about hiring a floor, the terrace or the full venue for up to 130 guests.

Specific areas can be requested, although they cannot always be guaranteed. The team will help find the most suitable available space for the group.

Sunday festive dining for larger groups

Groups of 15 or more can also book The Laundry’s Sunday Roast Set Menu for £49 per person.

The menu includes light nibbles to begin, a choice of roast main course with unlimited roast vegetables and gravy, followed by dessert.

It is a strong option for teams, families and groups of friends looking for a festive Sunday gathering rather than an evening Christmas party.
