Our private and group dining spaces on Coldharbour Lane are designed for birthdays, office parties, family lunches, intimate dinners and celebrations that deserve more than several tables pushed together at the last minute.
Come with twelve people. Bring thirty-four. Take over the terrace.
We will make sure the food, wine and hosting feel as though someone thought about them properly.
Group dining for 12 or more
Groups of 12 or more can book The Laundry’s £39 per person set menu.
The meal begins with complimentary light nibbles, followed by a choice of main course, with meat, fish and vegan options available. The Laundry’s chocolate mousse finishes the table.
For a larger feast, the menu can be upgraded to £49 per person, adding a selection of three starters before the main course and dessert. Breakfast set menus are also available for £28 per person.
Every group booking has a dedicated host for the occasion, helping with drinks, dietary requirements and the practical details nobody wants to manage from the head of the table.
Private dining rooms in Brixton
Downstairs, The Laundry has two adjoining private dining spaces.
La Table de Carmen can seat up to 20 guests.
The Drying Room can seat up to 14 guests.
Booked together, the rooms open into one larger private space for 20 to 34 guests, or 36 at a squeeze.
The rooms work well for birthday dinners, family celebrations, team meals, client entertaining and private lunches where conversation should remain around the table.
They are separate enough to feel like your own space, while still carrying the warmth and atmosphere of the restaurant upstairs.
Food, wine and drinks
Group dining should still feel like dining at The Laundry.
The set menu is built around seasonal cooking and proper bistro dishes, rather than a reduced version of the main restaurant experience.
Wine and cocktails can be selected in advance, with bottles ready at the table when your guests arrive. A sommelier-led New Zealand wine tasting can also be added for groups of ten or more, from £40 per person.

Larger private events
For larger events, the covered and heated terrace can seat up to 60 guests.
Combining the ground-floor bar and terrace creates space for events of between 60 and 100 guests, while the lower-ground area can accommodate canapé receptions for up to 45 people standing.
These spaces work for launches, receptions, office parties, milestone celebrations and occasions that require a little more of the restaurant.
Food and drinks can be arranged in advance, from seated menus to canapés and standing events.
