Christmas has entered the group chat.
The one with too many people, three different date suggestions, someone asking about vegan options before anyone has chosen a venue and at least one person saying, “Let’s just do somewhere easy.”
Good news. Somewhere easy can still be good.
Christmas bookings are now open at The Laundry Brixton, with festive group dining, private spaces, a covered and heated terrace, full venue hire and catering for Christmas celebrations taking place beyond Coldharbour Lane.
The festive season runs from 5 November to 23 December 2026, so the best dates may not wait around while everyone checks their diary.
Christmas dining in Brixton, without the stiff bits
Christmas at The Laundry is built around proper food, good wine, warm hosting and the kind of table that makes people stay longer than planned.
The Festive Set Menu is £39 per person and is available for groups of 10 or more. The table begins with Perelló Manzanilla picante olives and warm baguette with butter, followed by a choice of meat, fish or vegan main course and a seasonal dessert.
There are no food pre-orders. Guests choose their main course on the day, so the organiser does not have to spend December chasing everyone for their order.
Groups can add a selection of sharing starters for £10 per person, bringing more food to the table without adding more work to the group chat.
Meet the £10 festive cocktails
Christmas group bookings can enjoy three festive cocktails for £10 each throughout the evening.
The Cherry Royale brings together Crème de Cerise, Prosecco and morello cherry. The Cucumber Margarita is fresh, bright and a firm house favourite. The Festive Negroni combines spiced Brixton gin, Campari and sweet vermouth.
Guests can order cocktails individually during the booking or arrange welcome drinks in advance, ready for the group’s arrival.
Someone will suggest another round. Christmas does that.
Group celebrations made easier
Every group booking receives a dedicated host and a 3.5-hour table allocation, giving everyone enough time to settle in, eat properly and enjoy the evening.
Payments are flexible too. Guests can pay individually as they go, use the table QR code or settle one combined bill at the end.
It is Christmas dining with considerably less organiser admin, which might be the most festive offer of all.
Private spaces and bigger Christmas plans
The Laundry can accommodate everything from a table of 10 to a full venue celebration.
The ground-floor café and restaurant can seat groups of 10 to 17. La Table de Carmen seats up to 20, while The Drying Room seats up to 16. The two lower-ground rooms can be combined for groups of 20 to 36.
For larger occasions, groups can enquire about hiring a floor, the covered and heated terrace or the full venue, with space for up to 130 guests.

Christmas catering beyond The Laundry
Not every Christmas celebration takes place in the restaurant.
The Laundry also offers canapés, feasting tables, bespoke menus and sommelier-hosted New Zealand wine tastings. Off-site catering is available for homes, workplaces and events across London and beyond.
It is the food and hospitality of The Laundry, brought to wherever the Christmas party is happening.
