Trying to book a Christmas party in Brixton can start out exciting and become admin within minutes.

Start with the food
A Christmas party should not be built around the room first and the food second.
The Laundry’s Festive Set Menu is £39 per person and is available for groups of 10 or more. It includes olives and warm baguette with butter to begin, a choice of meat, fish or vegan main course and a seasonal dessert.
Guests choose their main course on the day, so there are no food pre-orders to collect. Dietary restrictions and allergies can be shared with the host on arrival.
Groups that want a fuller table can add a selection of sharing starters for £10 per person.
Good food on the table. Good wine close by. Much less chasing people for menu choices.
Add the festive cocktails
Christmas group bookings can enjoy three festive cocktails for £10 each.
Choose from the Cherry Royale with Crème de Cerise, Prosecco and morello cherry, the house-favourite Cucumber Margarita or a Festive Negroni made with spiced Brixton gin, Campari and sweet vermouth.
Welcome drinks can be arranged in advance, including bottles of Prosecco or a round of £10 festive cocktails ready for the table’s arrival.
A strong start tends to help the rest of the evening.
Choose the right space
The Laundry can accommodate a wide range of Christmas party sizes.
The ground-floor café and restaurant seats groups of 10 to 17. La Table de Carmen seats up to 20 and The Drying Room seats up to 16. The adjoining lower-ground rooms can be combined for groups of 20 to 36.
There is also a fully covered and heated terrace, while larger groups can enquire about hiring a floor, the terrace or the entire venue for up to 130 guests.
Specific spaces can be requested, although they cannot always be guaranteed. The team will work with the group to find the right setting for the occasion.
A Christmas party without the organiser panic
Every group booking receives a dedicated host and a 3.5-hour table allocation.
Payments can be handled individually, through table QR codes or as one combined bill. That means the organiser can spend less time managing the table and more time enjoying it.
